Sum-Sum-Summertime!!

Just some daily photos from the past couple months.

Getting into trouble

Whatcha doin' Mommy?
Adeline LOOOOVES books!

Trouble, again.

Happy girl staying up late one night

At my hometown church. For my cousin's wedding rehearsal dinner.

Playing with the groom.

In the sanctuary I grew up in.

Checking out the pretty stained glass

We stayed at Grandpa's house for the wedding. She was entranced by the big TV

After the wedding march with Mommy.... also after the Wedding March MeltDOWN.

It's really difficult to get everyone looking good for a family picture

Playing with Grandpa's chairs

This is what happens when you turn the cousins loose in Mama C's tupperware cabinet

On the way home we stopped at Frazier's. Addie played with the 7 dwarfs.

And rode a velociraptor

Trying out her newest trick at home

She likes to sit in her basket and play. She's learned to climb in by herself.

I'm in trouble.

Loves to play with Da-da through the back sliding door

All ready for the 4th of July festival!

After the festival, waiting for the fireworks to start

Though we never made it to the fireworks. We left right before they started.

We gave her her first doll for her 10 month birthday.

She's been obsessed with Poppy the Doll ever since

Baby's 1st Spaghetti

The aftermath. Reed was like "How did she get it in her hair?" Talent, sheer talent.

10 Months old!!!

Time for another monthly update!!
Adeline turned 10 months old on July 5th. She's in an incredibly fast development stage right now, and she surprises us everyday with something new that she's learned.
Her favorite thing right now is saying "Ma-ma" this applies to Reed and I both, as much as Reed tries to get her to say "Da-da" she always responds with a very defiant Ma-ma. As if to say "No no no, I think it will be easier for all of us if you two just have the same name." Her other words are "hi", "yay", "yeah", and everyone's favorite "heeeeeyyyyyy" (Fonzie style). None are particularly used in specific contexts other than repeating, or to signify she's happy about something.
She also claps to show happiness. "You have pleased Princess Baby" we say. Just yesterday she started noticing when the people on TV were clapping, so now she claps along with them.
She's cruising along the furniture, walls and window sills now, but is showing very little interest in walking on her own. Crawling though, crawling this girl has DOWN. She crawls with PURPOSE, fast and direct. And when she spots something she wants she goes for it.
We're still raspberrying all day every day. But now she does it in varying tones, pitches, and speeds. This seems to have led to "singing" as well. So far she's high pitched and tone deaf.... like her mommy.

10 month pictures!

Reaching for a box outside the crib.

In the rocking chair (this was the rocker that Reed's mom used when he was a baby)

Look what I found Mom!

You know, just a quick game of pool.

Clapping

More clapping.... she was happy that i was letting her crawl wherever while I was taking pictures

She always has to pull the phone off the toy.

Sitting like a big girl outside.

One of my favorite pictures. Look at those blue eyes!

With "Bear Rug" her security blanket.
