And hellooooo third trimester and crazy summer heat. Only ten weeks to go until we (hopefully) get to meet our baby girl! My online pregnancy literature says she's a little over 15 inches long and almost 3 pounds..... Well we don't know how long she actually is but an ultrasound a week ago told us she was 3.8 pounds... Lil' Fatty.
Addie and I have had two 3D ultrasounds in the past week. The first one I brought the Grandmas with me (Reed had to work). Addie was head up, bottom down and toes up. She had her big 'ol feet touching her forehead the entire time and her hands over her face. We did learn that she has big feet, abnormally long fingers, and is very proud she's a girl (showing off her little girl parts). We got a couple good pictures of her, but the ultrasound tech told me to come back in a week and we'd try to do better.
Little profile shot with her hands/feet near her mouth.
The best straight on picture we were able to get. Look at those CHUBBY cheeks!!!
Showing off her gymnast skills. That's a toe on her forehead and a hand under her nose. I hate to break it to her but she's going to be too tall to be a gymnast.
Those pictures were from last Monday. Mama C (my mom) and Grandma (Reed's mom) both had a great time checking out our little girl even if she was being a little shy.
Today, Reed and I went back for a redo, hoping to get some better photos.... Boy, were we wrong. Addie had simply inverted her position from a week ago. Head down, bottom up, toes down. She kept her hands and feet in front of her face almost the entire time (40 minutes of me shifting, trying to shift her and NOTHING). Our girl is STUBBORN. I've just decided that she wants to keep her face a secret so we can all be shocked by her beauty on D-Day (Delivery Day).
Hand under her nose again
Looking down.
Kind of a funny looking shot, but look at those fat cheeks again!
Another distorted shot, but that's her (I believe) right foot up by her forehead.
Hands in front of her face saying "No photos please"
The best face shot we could manage today. The distortion on the left side of her face and under her eye is a hand, with the finger under her eye.
The ultrasound tech said she gave us a thumbs up today (though I can't figure out which picture it is), so I take that to mean our Little Aggie is practicing for her upcoming college years.
GIG 'EM!!!! Class of 2031!!! (Mommy thinks)
