Springtime with Addie!

 It's been a while, I know..... that's  why this post is LOOOOONG...

We had Addie baptized a few weeks ago. It was a wonderful experience, she didn't cry at all, our pastor carried her around the church to show her off, and she behaved perfectly.

 After the baptism Addie and I headed to Waco to help out with cousin Harrison while Auntie Kim was bringing cousin Kinley into the world!

Harrison kept stealing all her toys, but she didn't mind!

When we got home we spent an afternoon with my friend Becky and her son Dylan. Addie's favorite part were the dogs Layla and Cash. These are the most laid back dogs in the world. She could "pat" them (more like hitting) and pull their ears and they still loved her to death.

 

Addie turned 8 months old on May 5th.... I was a couple days late on her pictures, but we still had fun!

 The normal crib pictures weren't working for us this month, so we headed outside!

She's kind of hard to keep still these days

She was laying on my leg watching the weather (a favorite pastime), but as soon as I put the camera up she turned to smile.

This green cup has become her favorite toy

We've had to block off the TV console, because she kept getting into it.

One of her new things is climbing over my shoulder and into the recliner.

She's learned to stand on her knees...

And do some step aerobics...

And she's pulling up to standing!

My 1st Mother's Day

Headed to Mother's Day church!

I had a wonderful first Mother's Day! Reed got up early and brought me breakfast and we had a great time at church. Our favorite restaurant was closed on actual Mother's Day (that was odd), so that's dinner for tonight! It's quite a drive for take out, but it's not really a baby friendly restaurant anyway, we're excited!
